You should consider moving to America, Sabin. It is the most conservative industrialized nation in the world, one with practically no strong political liberal voice, and one with the most politicians who would agree with your sentiments. The one aspect in which Merlin is right is that here "liberal" and "conservative" have become synonymous with "Democrat" and "Republican." The nation has come to regard anyone like Bill Clinton - a political moderate at best - as a representative of the "radical left." As a result, while the country steadily moves further to the right, the people believe it's moving further to the left, a myth the conservative media is glad to propagate.

I am closing this thread because of the way it has degenerated. You people, specifically Rudora and Charlemagne, and Rountree to an extent, should know better than to fan the flames in such a case, but I guess you don't. As for you, Sabin, I find many remarks of yours to be racist and in violation of our rules, specifically #9, which was designed specifically to prevent people from slurring one's religion, sexual orientation, or race. I don't know if you yourself are racist or not, but I honestly don't care, because while you're here you're going to be judged by the words you say. Have the goodness to choose them carefully. As it stands, even our board's numerous conservatives are too embarrassed by what you've said to give you any substantial support. Consider yourself warned.
