Player Characters

Nameless One - Morte - Dak'kon - Annah - Ignus - Fall-from-Grace - Nordom - Vhailor - Pet Lim-Lim

NAMELESS ONE
The Nameless One is Planescape's main character. After awakening inside the Mortuary, the scarred man finds himself suffering from an unusual form of amnesia, he can't remember is name, how he got there, where he is from, nothing... the only lead he has is a journal he found written on his back. The journey Begins.
Nameless One's initial stats are chosen when you begin a new life, they increase as he gains experience (levels) and regains lost memories. Nameless One is the only player character that can change Alignment, Class and Faction.
Quote: "One foot in the grave, the other in hell."
Comment: Even though The Nameless One starts of rather weak, he is easly the best character in the game. This is mainly due to his high versatility, since you can train him in different classes and in many different weapons. Heck! He'll build up so much during the game that near the end he's more like a *force* than any other thing. I give him a 10/10!

MORTE
STR DEX CON INT WIS CHR
12 16 16 13 9 6
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Class: Fighter
Faction: None
Initial Equipment: None
Location: Mortuary, 2nd Floor
Race: Morte
Special Abilities: Litany of Curses, Skull Mob

Quote: "Women are the reason I became a monk... and the reason I switched back..."
Comment: Morte is a fighter, and a pretty decent one I might add, he's also the player character that knows the most about The Nameless One (he keeps most of that information for himself though). His special abilities have it's uses; the Taunt is handy for disabling mages and diverting attackers towards Morte. All in all Morte is a great addition to any party, his defence bonus and high HP make him a great meat shield in the early stages of the game, and, if you get his stats upgrade later on in the game he becomes even more useful! Plus he's the FUNNIEST character I've ever seen!!! I give him a 7.5/10.

DAK'KON
STR DEX CON INT WIS CHR
17 16 16 13 13 13
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Class: Fighter/Mage
Faction: None
Initial Equipment: Dak'kon's Zerth Armor, Dak'kon's Zerth Blade, Unbroken Circle of Zerthimon, Whispering Flask
Location: Smoldering Corpse Bar (The Hive)
Race: Githzerai
Special Abilities: None

Quote: "Endure. In enduring, grow strong."
Comment: Don't let Dak'kon's appearance fool you, this old coot is actually one of the thoughest berks you'll meet in Ps:T. He carries the Zerth Blade which improves has he levels up (making it one of the most powerful weapons). And, being a fighter/mage Dak'kon also has access to the fighters' bonus and mage spells, which only makes him deadlier. Sure he levels up slower due to his double classed nature, but belive me, he won't need to reach high levels to kick butt.
Dak'kon can also train The Nameless One as a fighter or a mage, it's very useful in situations you need to do quick changes of class in order to get a certain bonus or a certain reaction out of someone.
Anyway, even though Dak'kon is a bit too stiff to my liking, there should be a place in every party for him. I give him a 8/10.

ANNAH
STR DEX CON INT WIS CHR
14 18 16 12 10 13
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Class: Fighter/Thief
Faction: Indepts
Initial Equipment: Annah's Punch Daggers, Annah's Vest, Chained-Teeth Earrings, 2 Bandages
Location: Pharod's Court (Buried Village)
Race: Tiefling
Special Abilities: None

Quote: "Get yer eyes off my arse!"
Comment: I have to say Annah is not one of the best player characters you'll encounter. She lacks strenght and endurance which makes her less useful than the other fighters (plus she has a bad attitude). But still, she's a good little thief (and can train you to be one too!), if your Nameless One is not a thief you might want to consider bringing her along. I give her a 7/10.
Spoiler:Annah also develops a crush on The Nameless One during the game!

IGNUS
STR DEX CON INT WIS CHR
13 16 20 19 8 3
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Class: Mage
Faction: None
Initial Equipment: None
Location: Smoldering Corpse Bar (The Hive)
Race: Human
Special Abilities: None

Quote: "Ignus wishes to BURN!"
Comment: Ignus is one crazy son-of-a-bi***, probably the craziest you'll encounter in Ps:T, still, that doesn't mean he's not useful. He's actually the most powerful mage in the game, you just have to know how to control him that's all. Most people leave Ignus behind due to his chaotic nature, well, not me! He get's a much deserved 8.5/10.

FALL-FROM-GRACE
STR DEX CON INT WIS CHR
13 16 16 16 16 19
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Class: Priest
Faction: Sensates
Initial Equipment: Fall-From-Grace's Chastity Bodice, Fall-From-Grace's Earrings
Location: Brothel of Slating Intellectual Lusts (Clerk's Ward)
Race: Succubus
Special Abilities: Fall-From-Grace's Kiss, Sensory Touch
Quote: "Simple minds... simple pleasures..."
Comment: Fall-From-Grace is the only priest in the game, but trust me, the only thing this broad's got going for her is her looks. She's a terrible fighter and her spells are not that good, except for the healing ones, which are actually quite useful. But, if you ask me, they are not worth having her around. There's items out there that can do what her spells do. In conclusion, Fall-From-Grace is an ok character to have, but mostly if you are a beginner. I give her a 6/10.

NORDOM
STR DEX CON INT WIS CHR
16 16 16 16 8 8
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Class: Fighter
Faction: None
Initial Equipment: Nordom's Crossbows, Nordom's Crossbow Bolts, Nordom's Ocular
Location: Rubikon
Race: Rogue Modron
Special Abilities: Nordom's Warp Sense

Quote: "I’m a little Modron short and stout."
Comment: Nordom is a funny looking Modron who's lost his purpose. A powerful fighter that can use unique crossbows, he always has an edge when fighting at a distance. He is also very costumizable, if you become his director you can mold him in your image. Nordom is a good fighter to have in the rear, picking off enemies, without letting them come close. I give him a 7.5/10.

VHAILOR
STR DEX CON INT WIS CHR
18/51 13 18 10 10 10
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Class: Fighter
Faction: Mercykillers
Initial Equipment: Final Judgment, Vhailor's Mercykiller Armor
Location: Curst Prison
Race: Restless Spirit
Special Abilities: None

Quote: "Perfection through punishment."
Comment: Grah! Make way, tank coming through! Vhailor is the animated suit of armour you find in the Curst Prison. He is also the strongest fighter in the game, he'll cut through just about anything. The only thing you have to worry about with Vhailor around is Vhailor himself! But, as long as you don't make your past known around him, he'll stick with you. He's got one thing going down for him though, his DEX, it's a bit low (which makes him an easier target). Blah, but that won't matter, I mean, how can they hit him if they are dead? Heh, you can make Vhailor so powerful near the ending of the game that he'll be able to beat the final boss all by himself (belive me, he can). For all this (and for being my favorite character :p) Vhailor get's a 9/10.

PET LIM LIM
STR DEX CON INT WIS CHR
??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
Alignment: None
Class: Pet
Faction: None
Initial Equipment: None
Location: Buy from merchant at Hive's marketplace
Race: limlim
Special Abilities: 15 foot jump :)

Quote: "piyo piyo."
Comment: Your pet lim-lim is actually helpful if you get overwhelmed by thugs in the early stages of the game, he can hit them quite easly. Other than that the only use for him is to gain access to the Anarchists' vaults (Have Marissa pertify him and then give it to Glitspur). I give him 0.00001/10.

Non Player Characters

Dhall - Deionarra - Fell - Ebb Creakknees - Lady of Pain - Pharod - Hargrimm the Bleak
Mantuok - Lothar - Coaxmetal - Ravel - Trias - Fhjull Forked-Tongue - Transcendent One

DHALL
Dhall is extremely old, and definitely not human. His skin has a trace of yellow, like old parchment. Dead charcoal gray eyes lie within an angular face... a non-human face, as the ears narrow to points. A large white beard flows down the front of his black robes like a waterfall. He coughs occasionally. The book he works in front of is huge, and seems to contain many names of corpses that have been brought to the Mortuary.

DEIONARRA
The ghostly apparition, Deionarra, claims she knows you, that you are her "Love." Whatever keeps her on the physical plane must be powerful indeed, for her to stave off death so long. Dying does not seem to have improved her disposition.

FELL
Fell is a fallen dabus, a former servant of the Lady of Pain and one of the few remaining priests of the dead god of portals, Aoskar. He has achieved some renown as a tattoo artist, somehow bringing his pictures to a kind of life. Simply return to Fell with tales of your exploits and he can sketch them on your skin, and allow you to draw strength from them.

EBB CREAKKNEES
Ebb Creakknees is an old Harmonium member who seems to be content enough to sit in his chair at the Smoldering Corpse and run his mouth off to whomever will listen to him. He's a font of information, if you can get past all the long-winded explanations.

LADY OF PAIN
The Lady is a mystery. She's widely regarded to be the de facto ruler of Sigil, its protector and its victim. She is said to guard the doors of the Cage against the myriad schemes of the gods, to be the ultimate expression of balance in the multiverse, to be the prisoner of the City of Doors. There are thousands of stories about her - one even tells that she's actually six giant squirrels with a headdress, robe, and ring of levitation and illusions - but none of them can be answered. She is a true enigma, a puzzle with no solution.

PHAROD
Pharod Wormhair is the Collector King of the Hive, a man crippled in body and spirit. His mind, however, seems to be as sharp as ever. He rules the Buried Village with an iron fist, keeping even that disorderly rabble in line. He is a sneak, a thief, and he seems to know far too much about you, though he does not reveal it without ... coaxing.

HARGRIMM THE BLEAK
Leader of the skeletons of the Dead Nations, Hargrimm is the skeleton priest who speaks the words of the Silent King to his followers. With Stale Mary the zombie and Acaste the Ghoul-Queen as the two other corners, he makes the third of the triumvirate that holds the Dead Nations in uneasy balance. Tipping the balance one way or another might incite chaos.

MANTUOK
Mantuok, the voice of Many-as-One, the cranium rat collective, is an ingratiating little bastard whose best quality is that he is subservient to those with power. He's also a mage of some talent, and it seems he'll sell out his master to achieve an advantage for himself. He seems to hate you with a passion. Perhaps he's jealous of you.

LOTHAR
The master of the Bones of the Night, Lothar keeps shelves full of skulls in his salon. They speak long-forgotten secrets, their whispers filling *his* skull with arcane knowledge. He may well be one of the few in existence who can truly destroy you. The folk of Sigil speak his name in hushed, reverent tones, and seem eager to avoid offending him.

COAXMETAL
A huge iron golem laboring away in the mysterious siege tower in the middle of Sigil, Coaxmetal is metal given life with an urge toward destruction. It is immense in size, and its goal seems to be the creation of weaponry.

RAVEL
All the stories you heard about Ravel Puzzlewell prepared you for a loathsome monster who would devour your soul. If she intended that, though, she chose a strange way to go about it - she is undeniably insane, trapped in a black-barbed maze of thorns and evil. You can't help but pity her, despite her great power: She has lost everything and doesn't even know it.

TRIAS
Trias is a deva, a celestial being from the Upper Planes. You first encountered him in the prison of Curst, imprisoned in an obsidian bubble. His beauty is astonishing to behold; the aura of goodness rolls from him like a glorious wave of light. His wings are charred down to the bone, yet he seems to bear his suffering with pride.

FHJULL FROKED-TONGUE
Forked-Tongue is a victim of Trias, whom he calls "the Betrayer." He signed a contract with the deva that consigned him to acts of charity until Trias is dead. He makes his home in the bones of UI-Goris in the Outlands, hiding from mortal and immortal alike. He has knowledge and items that may prove useful.

TRANSCENDENT ONE
This arrogant spectral entity claims to be my *mortality.* It has hunted me across my many lifetimes, sending shadows to kill me, making me forget, *tormenting* me. It wants nothing more than to see me suffer, broken and forgotten, while it remains secluded and at peace within the Fortress of Regrets. I will not allow it another chance to harm me.
